These days, it is hard to find someone who is not a part of Facebook, Twitter or another social networking site. Social Networking sites first developed in the early 2000s and have been growing rapidly in popularity ever since. These sites have totally changed the way that people interact with each other. For example, if a person has an event, he or she might send out an invite on a Facebook instead of written invitations.

A young man who is interested in dating a young woman may ask for her Facebook instead of her actual phone number. Social networking sites have also limited face-to-face interaction.Check out this link here. For example, a person may choose to talk to his or her friends online instead of meeting up with them.

Facebook and Twitter have also been very helpful for those who are looking to get jobs. Networking is an important part of the job hunting process and social sites just make that even easier. Additionally, Facebook and Twitter also give people information about different job openings, which has helped many people find jobs despite the fact the economy has been unpredictable for the last few years. It is hard to image life today without social networking sites.

Smartphones are one of the latest greatest technological inventions. At one time, not that long ago, it was great to just to be able to call your office from your car on a mobile phone. Now, with a smartphone, you can essentially run a business solely from your smartphone. They are that complex and advanced. The camera can aid by sending photos of a product line to purchase and a decision can be made in minutes.

Smartphones have the capability of not only making phone calls, just a minor point, it seems, in purchasing a cellular phone today. However, the most phenomenal feature of the smartphones is the ability to use the internet, email including full keyboards, applications for saving money and shopping, chats, camera, video, and GPS directions. Many of them allow the user to utilize more than one of the functions at one time as well, making them nearly as useful as a home computer.

The ability to stay in touch, read emails, forward documents, answer questions, and quickly research on the internet make smartphones indispensable in this busy technical day and age. They can stay powered with a simple cable to recharge in a car or wall socket.

For the first time in human history, modern communications technology gives us the capability to communicate with virtually any other point on planet earth, provided that location has adequate cell phone coverage! Humans have come a long way from smoke signals and jungle drums. There is a reason they call it the World Wide Web; we have an electronic information “web” covering the entire globe, thanks to satellites. Smart phones are our connection to this information web. With a Smartphone, the individual has access to many more features, or “apps” (applications), than a simple voice-only cell phone.

The Smartphone is a multimedia player that is almost a pocket-size personal computer (PC). With it we can surf the Internet and can access any Wi-Fi hotspots. Most smart phones have touch screens and/or sliding QWERTY keyboards. There may be a camera in the phone, and digital video player/recorder. This feature allows for instant recording of various events and happenings, such as breaking news stories, and instantly shared with the entire world via the Internet. Never in history has there been this instantaneous communication feature, almost God-like in its power! Soon smart phones will be used for electronic payments for goods and services, like a debit card. You don’t want to be “left behind” without a Smartphone!

Why not easy your stress and make your life a little easier. Albert Einstein once said “Never memorize what you can look up in books.” Though we are not talking about books and are instead referring to applications the same rule still applies.

Applications or apps can take every day tasks and make them easy. For example, why remember your shopping list when you can easily open up a to-do list app and type it in so that it’s ready when you get to the store. Do you want to know the sports score but you are on the road? There is no need to find a TV, just check your sports app. If you need to know the cheapest gas around, you don’t need to drive, you can simply click on a gas pricing app to find the least expensive station around. Let’s say that you are out a store and see something that you want to buy but you don’t want to come home and find out you paid too much. There is actually an app where you can scan the bar code of the item and it will bring up the price of the item online and at other local stores.

There are so many ways that using apps can help lighten your load. It’s not worth stressing over the small stuff that you can “look up in books,” just download an app and call it a day.
